still more questions:
is it possible for a fight to end with both monsters and heroes in the room? (this will depend on how you organize the HP/AP)
what happens next? another battle the next turn/round? can the heroes run? can the monster be re-located by the villain?
can the healing treasure bring HP to be higher than the level (e.g, if i am level 3, with 1HP left, I am alone and I find the healing treasure, do i go to 3HP, to 6HP or is it like a flask that i can use in part and in part save/share later)?
can the villain put traps in already explored rooms?
would 'explore' also find secret doors if any?

Wow, this has to be bs. I cannot believe Apple won't introduce any hardware in WWDC '11.

I'm still going to wait for another announcement because every report said that there would be an iPhone 5 this summer, it makes no sense.
The iPhone 4 was a real refresh considering it was the first redesign in 2 years. The 3Gs was a smaller refresh than the iPhone 4 yet you still own one.
So in your world a 'real refresh' is when the externals change? Don't judge a book by it's cover, the 3GS was a massive upgrade.

Free services are worth every cent you pay.
For those that whine about the price just try to get a legitimate IMAP email service for under $100 a year. Gmail and hotmail don't count, as by legitimate I mean that your address doesn't automatically make people think of SPAM. Free email equals source of SPAM.
Added all up and mix in its integration with Mac, Iphone and iApps Mobile me is a steal at less than $6 a month.
Oh and a two letter email address is priceless.
Now if they just made syncing and find my iPhone free with the full service as an paid upgrade. sort of a freemium model. that could work.

Wow, I want one! This will be my next PC desktop, definitely. Now it's a question of timing.
I have a 15" MacBook Pro, and my PC desktop is a 3.6 GHz Pentium D Extreme (two cores each with Hyperthreading, looks like 4 cores) that doesn't really need to be replaced yet. I want my first desktop Mac, but I'm trying to work down my debt and then save for a sports car, so I have to make some sacrifices...
The Mac Pro will have to wait (as long as I can resist the temptation). Besides, by that time something better will inevitably come along. But I have to give Apple applause. I like the SATA drive cages. And finally nVidia support for X86 (I wonder if the MacVidia project is now dead). 3 GHz dual Woodcrest is very, very tempting :) Maybe I can get my job to buy one...

Doing it through the app store mares it more advertised and more users will be able to just upgrade. Whereas before u had to somehow hear about it and then take a drive to the store. Now it's easier and more advertised but you now have these "problems". So it will probably be available in the app store but u can burn it to a disc if u want, or purchase it from a apple store. But apple wants the primary distribution point to be the app store.

I can't really see any reason for Apple to track people. They are not Google. The author of that email is an idiot. Posts on other sites about the issue from FanDroids have been laughable, as they seem to think Google would never track them. That's kind of the nature of the their business. Google tracks everything you do, and is in the news almost weekly for controversial tracking practices.
Cnet had an interesting article showing how law enforcement has been using this data in the iPhone for over a year, and cites incidents where it's been used in court to place people at the vicinity of crimes and show their movements:

Google wants to know where you are, where you've been, what sites you surf, what products you look at, what you search for, what color you fence is in the front yard... it helps them serve up ads. If Apple used any data, I think it would be for technical improvements, and when you set up an IOS device it does give you an option to send or not to send data back to Apple for those reasons.

I can't believe your BlueAnt is working for you. Yes my phone is a 3Gs. I had other replies to an earlier post that indicated that Apple did not allow some of the BT technology to work on their phone.
I will try and "pair" again to iPhone and see if it works. I agree with you re hitting a button on the visor.
I've had no issues with the BluAnt at all. That said, Voice Control occasionally comes up with some pretty funny ways that it pronounces names, and you have to pronounce it that way if you want that particular name to come up.

I think the iPhone 4 is still the easiest to use and best phone. My friend has an evo and I think it is too big and his is always crashing. Even if they release an iPhone 5 I might just keep the 4 until the 4g/lte/wimax whatever it is comes out unless mine is lost/stolen/broken.
I really can't think of anything they can do to it other than that; a faster processor or memory doesn't matter to me because I don't really play many games, better camera doesn't matter because I don't take many pics, 3D screen on small display seems like a gimmick, when I have a 3dtv. Maybe there will be something surprising but if my phone was lost/stolen/broken today I would go get an iPhone 4 again.

The default number of WorkerThreads seems to make the system unusable for some users of the current version of Sophos. That's heaviness of one sort.
A higher number of WorkerThreads, for which there's no GUI, will use resources in a different way. That's heaviness of a different sort.
A system that's consistently usable is a must, so for as long as there's uncertainty around http://openforum.sophos.com/t5/Sophos-Anti-Virus-for-Mac-Home/Unable-to-complete-login-after-reboot/m-p/1027#M599 I should recommend approaching SAV with caution, and with readiness to work around things from the command line.
I didn't run into any such problem. I did notice an appreciable decrease in performance when using Kaspersky though. Sophos only slowed down my Mac on startup. But so far the only antivirus which doesn't noticeably slow down the system on startup seems to be ESET, after some tweaking.

I think the first step would be increasing displays to like 1800x1080 on the 13", and 1900x1200 on the 15" and 2400x1440 on the 17" - while keeping the same user interface size. That would be awesome.
Then in the next 5-10 years, I'd expect full retina.
I doubt it would be a full jump from 1440x900 --> 3200x2000 on a 15" or something like that.

Where does this leave Conroe and Allendale? Apple's marketing strategy has always been that the PowerBooks (MacBook Pro) have faster processers then any of the iMac offerings. The Conroe and Allendale (Desktop) chips run faster then the Merom (Mobile) chips.
:confused: The imac had a G5 for a long time while the powerbook had a G4. The imac ended with a 2.1 G5 and the powerbook topped out at a 1.67 G4. Apple has no problem, nor should they, putting a faster processor in a desktop than a notebook, even when the notebook is a "pro" machine and the desktop a "consumer" machine.
I've maintained all along that the imac will get Conroe. It's a midrange desktop, not a laptop. Why would/should it get a laptop processor? (and don't say "yonah is a laptop processor." Apple did that because they wanted to switch to intel and the Pentium IV was not a valid option, so yonah was the only choice. Now they have a real desktop processor available, and they will use it.)

The current iMac's can't even run games at 2560x1440 very well, so an even higher resolution? Unless they want to stick a desktop Radeon 6950 (at least) in there, it just wouldn't work. Surely Apple sees how important gaming is with iOS and Steam?
